State Bound!

Good Luck to Jacob Hendrich as he qualified for his second straight IHSAA State Finals in wrestling. Jacob will compete Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Great Job Jacob, your school is proud of you! Go Knights!

Wrestling Semi-State

Austin Cook and Jacob Hendrich both advanced to the Evansville Semi-State this Saturday by finishing runner-up in the Bloomington South Regional. Good Luck and Go Knights!

Cook and Hendrich Named JR. Academic All-State

Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association (IHSWCA) just announced their All-State JR. Academic team. Northview’s Austin Cook and Jacob Hendrich was named to the First team. To be selected to honor you have to have a GPA higher than 3.75. Jacob’s GPA is 3.98 and Austin’s GPA is 3.87. Congratulations to you both.

Northview Gets 2 Wrestlers in IHSAA State Finals

Cale McCoy and Jacob Hendrich punched their ticket this past Saturday,  to go to the IHSAA State Wrestling Finals in Indianapolis @Bankers Life Fieldhouse this weekend. Cale finishing 3rd in his weight class and Jacob finishing 4th in his weight class. Good Luck this weekend in the state Finals.

Northview claims three sectional titles; advance six to wrestling regional

Northview High School will be well represented in this weekend’s Bloomington South Wrestling Regional. Cale McCoy, Stephen Gibson and Jacob Hendrich claimed individual championships for the Knights as Northview placed fourth as a team. Austin Cook finished second at 120 pounds and both Michael Heading and Marcus Duregger won third-place matches to bring Northview’s regional

Last night Cale McCoy became Northview’s all time leader in number of winning matches with a total 127 in his career. He broke the record set by Austin Staley in 2004 with 126 wins. Congratulations Cale.
