The Lady Knights put together some great passes and touches enroute to a solid performance. “We wanted to work on Corners and the little nuances of the most beautiful game.” Said Coach Bryan, “I feel we did that we still have some heavy work to do on the finer points but so far we have continued forward”. The game started under the lights as ominous sky was flirting with some rain but it held off for the 9-0 win. Under a minute and a half in a touch from Sarah Bryan to Kassidy Kellett put the knights up 1-0. Then the knights continued to move the ball around With Kassidy pick up the next ball and putting it in the net against a very aggressive Cadets Goal keeper. That was a very solid job in the goal from her, said Coach Bryan. The knights ended up with 16 shots on goal out of 22 taken. That was a huge improvement with 9 out of the 16 finding the back of the net. The defense again was stellar, the defensive firm of Everheart , Keller , Lackey ,and Lowe basically snuffed out any hope of the cadets getting a good chance on pipe minder Sydney Brock who recorded her 10th shut out when she has been in pipes this season. She will probably set the bar for a keeper with shut outs in a career. She will be the first to credit the people in front of her. Scoring for the Knights Kassidy Kellett , 3 Maggie Lackey 2 Delani Wallen 2 , 1 for Jolee Kellett. Ranking up assist Sarah Bryan 4 with 2 each Ava Dorsett , and Kassidy. Then 1 each from Kaylee Lowe and Jolee. Steals Kaylee Lowe recorded 3 Sarah Bryan 2 , and one each from Jaycee Kellett , Kamryn Zadeii , Kassidy , Ava, Everheart, and Kamryn Hardy. Parker Gibbons picked up two saves in relief of Brock in the game.
