The Lady Knights took to the pitch a day after a sultry late game at Sullivan the night before. Looking to take on another young team attempting to knock of theISCA #18th ranked 2-A lady Knights. Monrovia has a very good player and they have been able to score goals but have struggled with defense this season. The Lady Knights have really begun to use the new opportunity of playing on the turf and turning it in to a home field advantage. . “We notched the first Varsity win on the new field which is a great honor , Coach Raetz and his staff football staff have been great so far to work with so far. The NHS Ad’s have done a great job getting time for all three HS teams time on the pitch and scheduling games. It is kinda of cool that the field is going to be named after one of the two ADS ( Jerry Anderson) that brought soccer to Northview in 1996. The game got underway with a glaring sun heating up the pitch. The Knights started with a score 30 seconds in from Kaylee Lowe to Team leading Scorer Kassidy Kellett, The Great thing about this team is its un selfishness and team play. Kaylee is a prime example of what makes this team so special. She is one of nine players with 2 or more assists this season and one of 12 players with at least 1 varsity goal or more. Scoring for the knights Jaycee Kellett , Maggie Lackey , Jolee Kellett , Grace Nicosin , Kassidy Kellett 2 , Ava Dorsett , Kaylee Lowe , Raylee Everheart and Kamryn Hardy. Assists on the night Sarah Bryan with 2 1 each Jolee Kellett, Kamryn Zadiee , Grace Nicosin , Kassidy Kellett , Kaylee Lowe , and Delani Wallen.
