The lady Knights competed very well last night in a three way conference meet against West Vigo and Greencastle. The Knights beat the host school, West Vigo, but lost a close meet to Greencastle.
Northview came away with 8 first place finishes in the meet.
The 4×100 relay team of Mahaylee Bex, Haley Howard, Alysa Meyer, and Maggie Lackey won in a time of 55.15. The 4×400 Relay of Alysa Meyer, Maggie Lackey, Haley Howard, and Eden Siples won in a time of 4:31.
Eden Siples continued her dominant ways in the 400 by winning in a time of 1:01.06, combining it with a win in the 200 with a time of 26.25. Siples also won the High Jump by clearing 4 feet 10 inches. Joining Siples with a pair of individual wins on the night was sophomore Adrienne Combs who won both hurdle events. Combs won the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.28, while winning the 300s with a time of 52.56. Freshman Maggie Lackey added a win in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.09 to go along with her pair of relay wins.
Runner up finishes for the Knights were the 3200 meter relay team of Madeline Sinders, Ashley Roberts, Mercedes Hoke, and Yahaira Martinez who ran a time of 12:26. Alysa Meyer took the runner up spot in the Long Jump with a jump of 13 feet 11 and a half inches. Ashley Roberts took second in the High Jump, clearing 4 feet 4 inches.
Katelyn Kidwell ran to a personal best in 100 hurdles finishing 3rd with a time of 19.9 seconds. Jolee Kellett finished 3rd in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:09. Adrienne Combs added a third place finish as well in the Long jump, jumping 13 feet 10 inches.
Rounding out the scoring for the Knights by scoring in 4th at the meet was Cheyenne Monfort in the 100 meter dash with a time of 14.28, Madeline Sinders in the 800 with a time of 2:54, Mahaylee Bex in the 200 with a time of 29.56, and Cathy Smith in the 3200 with a time of 17:14.
The ladies get right back to action on Monday competing at Terre Haute South against the host braves.
