The Lady Knights traveled to White River Valley Tuesday night. After jumping out with a quick 10 points, the Knights offense slowed down. WRV’s 2-3 zone started to give the Knights some trouble, as the first quarter ended 10-7 with the Lady Knights on top. Macey Timberman helped keep the Knights on top going into halftime 22-14. Timberman accounted for 12 of the Knights 22 points in the first half, and Timberman finished the game with 17 points and 10 of 11 from the free throw line. The Lady Knights had a great third quarter that saw them scoring 19 points. Tara Pearce had 9 of the 19 points in the 3rd quarter hitting 3 shots from behind the arc. Audri Spencer was solid the entire night for Knights. Spencer finished with 17 points, as she matched Timberman for a game high in points. Brooklyn Eldridge came into the game and gave the Knights very solid minutes and scored 4 points in the win. As a team, the Knights shot 19 of 24 from the free throw line. This win puts the Lady Knights record at 2-1 on the season.
